I’m a story monster.
Growing up in the 2000s in suburban Kentucky, when my dad would tell me stories about his 1960s childhood in Pakistan, I would be voraciously hungry for more.
“I can’t just tell you all my stories at once!”
Downtrodden, I’d go to sleep, excited to hear one more the next day.
That itch for more stories– windows into a life different from but connected to my own–never quite went away.
Today, I help people discover and express the stories that are unique and particular to them, with the perspectives that are unique and particular to them, in the voice that is unique and particular to them.
I think it’s so cool that not one of us has the same collection of personal lore, relationships, interests, fears, dreams, quirks, likes, and dislikes.
We are all our own constellations.
I would love to get to know yours.
